Football Game Preview: Hanover-Horton Comets vs. Union City Chargers + How To Watch

The Hanover-Horton Comets will be playing in front of their home fans against the Union City Chargers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hanover-Horton will be strutting in after a victory while Union City will be coming in after a loss.

Union City will face off against a team with plenty of momentum: Hanover-Horton extended their winning streak to six on Saturday. The Comets came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 20-14 W against Michigan Center. Surprisingly, this marked the Comets' sixth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 34 points the game before, Union City was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They took a 20-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of Decatur. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hanover-Horton's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Union City, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Hanover-Horton was dealt a bruising 42-13 loss at the hands of Union City when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Can the Comets avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
