Football Recap: New Hope Comes Up Short + How To Watch

New Hope lost against Choctaw County back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Trojans fell 35-24 to the Chargers.

Leading Choctaw County to victory were Jeramiah Miller and Kj Cork. Miller gained 216 total yards and four touchdowns, while Cork threw for 327 yards and two touchdowns.

New Hope's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Choctaw County, the win (which was their 16th in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.

New Hope will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Brother Martin at 7:00 p.m. on the 19th. As for Choctaw County, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 31-28 loss against Hernando on the 12th.
