Softball Recap: Marengo Takes a Loss

Marengo lost against Southern Choctaw last Monday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers came up short against the Indians, falling 22-4. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marengo's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Southern Choctaw, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-7-1 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marengo will challenge Sweet Water at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southern Choctaw, they will venture away from home to take on Washington County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
