Flag Football Recap: Paige Jefferson and Anna Johnson Pace Ponderosa Defense + How To Watch

Ponderosa had lost three straight on the road, but on Wednesday they dropped down to 3-7 to make it four. They took a 25-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the ThunderRidge Grizzlies. The contest was a 6-6 toss-up at halftime, but the Mustangs couldn't quite close it out.

Although Ponderosa took the loss, they still got scores from Paige Jefferson and Reagan Eby.

Ponderosa didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jefferson and Anna Johnson. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to interceptions, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Jefferson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

As for ThunderRidge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-6. 25 seems to be a good number for them as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

ThunderRidge's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Claire Wilson, who threw for 192 yards and three TDs.

Coincidentally, Ponderosa and ThunderRidge will both be playing Legend the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will head out to face the Titans at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Grizzlies will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
