Soccer Recap: Kingfisher Comes Up Short

If Kingfisher was riding high fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Dove Science Academy last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Yellowjackets came up short against the Crossings Christian Knights on Friday, falling 8-3. The loss continues a trend for Kingfisher in their meetings with Crossings Christian: they've now lost four in a row.

Kingfisher's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Crossings Christian, they pushed their record up to 5-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coincidentally, Kingfisher and Crossings Christian will both be playing Mount St. Mary the next time they take the pitch. The Yellowjackets will host the Rockets at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Knights will host them at 7:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
