Basketball Recap: Beachwood Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Fairview, Beachwood was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against the Brooklyn Hurricanes by a score of 68-59.

Beachwood's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Brooklyn, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Beachwood will be home for the holidays to greet North at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Brooklyn, they will venture away from home to challenge Independence at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Independence knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matches -- so hopefully Brooklyn likes a good challenge.
