Heath was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They received a blow as they fell 49-35 to the Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 54-26 back in December of 2024.

Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kailyn Holmberg, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Sydney Cottrell, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.

Heath's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Johnstown-Monroe, their victory bumped their record up to 14-3.

Heath will welcome Granville at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Granville will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Heath surely won't give up without a fight. Johnstown-Monroe has already played their next match, a 40-39 victory against Newark Catholic on the 27th.
