Basketball Recap: MOLLY HOWE and JUNE WALLACE Secure Win for Hopewell

Hopewell's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against the A.L. Brown Wonders by a score of 49-42. This was a revenge game for the Titans: when they faced off against the Wonders back in December of 2024, they had to take a 56-36 loss.

Leading Hopewell to victory were JUNE WALLACE and MOLLY HOWE. WALLACE dropped a double-double with 14 points and 18 boards, while HOWE posted 12 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave WALLACE a new career-high in rebounds. JEWEL OSBORNE was another key player, putting up two points and nine boards.

Hopewell is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-16 record this season. As for A.L. Brown, they are on a 15-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-20.

Coming up, Hopewell will head out on the road to take on Hough at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. A.L. Brown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
