Justin Stokes Game Report: vs Edwardsville

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Justin Stokes: he recorded his first sack on Friday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also made one tackle (1.0 for loss) as Lawrence Central took down Edwardsville 61-21. We hope Friday's game is the first of many we'll see posted here as the season progresses.

Looking ahead, Stokes and Lawrence Central have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Warren Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bears have some work to do to even out the 2-7 series between these two since September of 2018, but a win here would be a good start.
