Volleyball Recap: Center Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Center duked it out with Bethel on Saturday. The Center Cougars fell just short of the Bethel Jaguars by a score of 2-1.

EJ Fernandez paced Center's offense, picking up six kills. Fernandez got some help from Julio Inguanzo Lopez and his 17 assists. Mark Kim controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Center now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Bethel, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Center didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Stagg on the 1st. As for Bethel, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against West on the 1st.
