Baseball Game Preview: Johnson Creek Bluejays vs. Luther Prep Phoenix

The Johnson Creek Bluejays will head out on the road to take on the Luther Prep Phoenix at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Johnson Creek is coming into the match hot, having won their last four games.

While Johnson Creek's victory against Palmyra-Eagle wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bluejays had just enough and edged out the Panthers 3-1.

Meanwhile, Luther Prep unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 12-7 to Lake Country Lutheran.

Michel Krebs and Lucas Martin did some serious damage despite the final result: Krebs got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base, while Martin went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Micah Westendorf was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double and one RBI.

Luther Prep's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Johnson Creek, their win bumped their record up to 16-6.
