Volleyball Recap: Wayne Memorial Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wayne Memorial suffered their biggest defeat since October 22, 2024 on Thursday. They came up short against the Plymouth Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Zebras haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

While Wayne Memorial ultimately came up short, they really made Plymouth work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16, 27-25.

Wayne Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Plymouth, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.

Wayne Memorial and Plymouth could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Zebras (ranked 251st) will meet Stevenson (ranked 105th) at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Plymouth will face off against Novi at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (346 vs. 69).
