Soccer Recap: Pioneer Plays to a Tie

For the first time since back in December of 2024, Pioneer was forced to settle for a draw on Friday. Neither they nor the Wood Wildcats could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 2-2 draw.

Pioneer's draw gives them a new season record of 2-2-2. As for Wood, they moved theirs to 3-4-2.

Pioneer and Wood could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Pioneer (ranked 441st) will meet Vacaville (ranked 154th) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Wood will take on Vanden at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday down 535 places (752 vs. 217).
