Soccer Recap: Mesquite Plays to a Tie

For the first time since January 3rd, Mesquite was forced to settle for a draw on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Saguaro Sabercats could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Mesquite's draw makes their record 9-4-2 this season. As for Saguaro, they moved theirs to 12-3-2.

The future could be bright for both Mesquite and Saguaro: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Mesquite will look to extend Marcos de Niza's three-game losing streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on February 7th. Similarly, Saguaro will try to hand St. Mary's their seventh-straight loss when the two meet at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
