Basketball Recap: Scotland Christian Academy Sets Scoring Season-High Against Marlboro Academy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Scotland Christian Academy). They walked away with a 73-65 win over the Marlboro Academy Dragons on Tuesday. This was payback for the Saints, who suffered a 78-64 loss the last time these two teams met.

Scotland Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jeffrey St Onge, who went 8 of 20 en route to 23 points in addition to seven boards and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Frankie McIntyre, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 13 rebounds.

The victory made it two in a row for Scotland Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 5-4. As for Marlboro Academy, they suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 4-6.

Scotland Christian Academy will challenge Living Water Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Scotland Christian Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Marlboro Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lee Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 24th.
