Football Game Preview: Saratoga Panthers vs. Wright Panthers + How To Watch

Saratoga are taking a road trip to square off against Wright at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Saratoga is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Wyoming's top teams: Pine Bluffs, who was ranked third at the time (Saratoga was ranked 18th). The Panthers were beaten by the Hornets 50-18 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Hornets: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Wright suffered their biggest loss since September 20, 2024 on Friday. They had to suffer through a 55-17 loss at the hands of Lingle-Fort Laramie.

Wright's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Saratoga, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-2.

Saratoga was able to grind out a solid win over Wright in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 14-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for Saratoga since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
