Volleyball Recap: Adalyn Smith Key Part of Team Effort in Red Rams Win + How To Watch

There's no place like home for Franklinton, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Warren County Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory on Monday. The Red Rams haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-4, 25-8.

Franklinton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Adalyn Smith, who had 22 assists and nine aces. That's the most assists Smith has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Whitley Jones, who had seven digs and five aces.

They weren't the only good server: Franklinton was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 21 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Warren County only served three aces.

Franklinton now has a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Franklinton will head out to face off against Roanoke Rapids at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Warren County, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on Weldon at 5:00 p.m. on the 26th. This will be the Eagles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
