Northwestern won the last time they faced Springfield and things went their way on Saturday too. The Warriors blew past the Wildcats 11-1. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

Olivia Pamer was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Bailey Harris, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Northwestern pushed their record up to 15-9 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Springfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.
