While Casa Roble's victory against Rio Linda wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Rams sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-5 win over the Knights on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-1 back in March.

The team relied heavily on Zaria Gee, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double.

Gee wasn't the only one making solid contact: Casa Roble kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. The Rams are undefeated (6-0) when they post 11 or more hits.

Casa Roble's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-5-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Rio Linda, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-5.

Casa Roble and Rio Linda should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Rams will square off against Del Campo at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (262 vs. 676). Meanwhile, Rio Linda (ranked 273rd) will meet Tranquillity (ranked 1143rd) at 2:15 p.m. on Monday.
