Volleyball Recap: Metro Tech Takes a Loss

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Metro Tech and Fairfax meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Knights fell just short of the Stampede by a score of 3-2. The Knights were not able to make up for their loss to the Stampede from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Metro Tech's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-6. As for Fairfax, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 3-6 record.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Metro Tech will take on rival Alhambra at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Fairfax is set to square off against their familiar foe McClintock at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
