Softball Preview: Central Valley Christian Cavaliers vs. Selma Bears
Central Valley Christian is 0-10 against Selma since May of 2016 but things could change on Friday. The Cavaliers will head out on the road to face off against the Bears at 4:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.
Central Valley Christian fell victim to Immanuel and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Eagles, falling 24-0. The Cavaliers' loss continues a trend for the team, making it five in a row.
The home team had come away the winner the last five times Selma and Kingsburg had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Bears lost 7-1 to the Vikings on Tuesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bears have suffered against the Vikings since May 2, 2019.
