Wahpeton had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They blew past the Oak Grove Lutheran Grovers 71-47. Given the Huskies' advantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 18th, while the Grovers are ranked 78th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wahpeton pushed their record up to 10-6 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.2 points over those games. As for Oak Grove Lutheran, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wahpeton will head out to take on Devils Lake at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Devils Lake's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Oak Grove Lutheran, they are taking a road trip to square off against Grafton at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
