MALVERN, Ohio -
Malvern (Ohio) kept up a steady attack all game long to beat Conotton Valley (Bowerston, Ohio), 43-8, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a kick return touchdown by
Collen Thomas in the first quarter, the Hornets were up 22-0 at the half.
Malvern grew its lead to 36 points entering the fourth quarter. MHS scored two times in the third, including once on a
Trey Tucci touchdown run.
Conotton Valley's only touchdown came on a 41-yard run in the fourth quarter.
A 46-0 Malvern victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
The loss comes after Conotton Valley defeated St. John Central 12-6 last week. The win was a nice bounce back for Malvern, which lost to Western Reserve last week, 20-12.
