Burley waltzed into their match on Saturday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 7-6 W against the Jerome Tigers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 on Saturday.

Burley let Marhi Robins and Katelyn Hege run wild. Robins went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI, while Hege went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Burley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .556. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Jerome only posted an OBP of .417.

Burley pushed their record up to 12-8 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Jerome, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-10.

As of now, neither Burley nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
