Soccer Recap: New Albany Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact New Albany can now relate to. They lost 4-1 to the Floyd Central Highlanders on Thursday. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, New Albany couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Clara Railey, who's now up to 24 this season.

New Albany's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Floyd Central, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

New Albany does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Floyd Central, they have already played their next match, a 4-0 victory against Seymour on the 11th.
