Basketball Game Preview: Liberty Bell Mountain Lions vs. Okanogan Bulldogs

The Liberty Bell Mountain Lions will take on the Okanogan Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Okanogan will be up against a hot Liberty Bell squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. Liberty Bell claimed a resounding 76-30 victory over Cascade. The Mountain Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Okanogan came up short against Ephrata on Tuesday and fell 68-55. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bulldogs came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 49th, while the Tigers are ranked 230th).

Liberty Bell's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points per game. As for Okanogan, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-4.
