Softball Recap: York Catholic Comes Up Short

After flying high against William Penn last Thursday, York Catholic came back down to earth. The Fighting Irish came up short against the Littlestown Thunderbolts on Wednesday, falling 15-1. The Fighting Irish have struggled against the Thunderbolts recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

York Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Littlestown, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. York Catholic will face off against rival York County Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Littlestown is set to challenge their familiar foe Fairfield at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
