Softball Preview: Easley Green Wave vs. Berea Bulldogs
The Easley Green Wave will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Berea Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
On Thursday, Easley fell victim to a rough 7-1 loss at the hands of Woodmont.
Easley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sami Ernhardt, who went 2-for-4 with an RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Callen Saxon, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Berea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They wound up on the wrong side of a tough 9-0 walloping at the hands of Greenville. The shutout was out of character for Berea seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.
Easley's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Berea, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
