Softball Recap: Southeast Seminoles vs. Bayshore Bruins
Southeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Bayshore Bruins, falling 21-8. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-6 back in March.
Kaelyn Poole was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Alemy Familia-Linares was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Southeast's record is now 0-14. As for Bayshore, their victory bumped their record up to 4-9.
As of now, neither Southeast nor the Bruins have any future games scheduled.
