Basketball Game Preview: West Wilkes Blackhawks vs. East Surry Cardinals

West Wilkes hasn't had much luck against East Surry recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The West Wilkes Blackhawks will head out to face off against the East Surry Cardinals at 6:15 p.m. West Wilkes will be strutting in after a win while East Surry will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Friday, West Wilkes blew past Wilkes Central, posting a 59-18 victory. The Blackhawks haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, East Surry came up short against Forbush on Friday and fell 56-47.

West Wilkes' victory bumped their record up to 7-14. As for East Surry, their loss dropped their record down to 17-5.

Things could have been worse for West Wilkes, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 67-50 loss to East Surry in their previous matchup back in January. Can West Wilkes avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
