If Osawatomie wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Baldwin, they should've done a better job of containing Bryis Alford. The Bulldogs blew past the Trojans, posting a 48-0 victory for which the team can thank Alford, who threw for 213 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes, and also rushed for 60 yards and one TD on only five carries. He is becoming a predictor of Baldwin's success: when he posts at least three passing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

The win made it two in a row for Baldwin and bumps their season record up to 5-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 42.5 points over those games. As for Osawatomie, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.

Baldwin has already played their next game, a 55-12 loss against Holton on the 31st. As for Osawatomie, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 78-7 defeat against Hiawatha on the 30th.
