Volleyball Recap: Sandusky Triumphs

Sandusky won the last time they faced Kingston and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Wolves walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Cardinals.

Sandusky got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-23, 27-29, 31-29.

Kingston lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Piper St. George, who had 14 digs and six aces. Another player making a difference was Hailey Seaman, who had 24 digs and three aces.

Sandusky now has a winning record of 3-2-1. As for Kingston, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sandusky will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Memphis at 7:30 p.m. on September 11. After both having extra time off, Kingston and North Huron will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
