Basketball Recap: Promise Prepatory Academy's Run of Nine Straight Victories Now Over

After a string of nine wins, Promise Prepatory Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They received a blow as they fell 75-58 to the White Creek Christian Academy Eagles. The Knights were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 67-54.

White Creek Christian Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Maximus Whitmire, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 assists. That's the most assists Whitmire has posted since back in November of 2023. Another player making a difference was Luke Shook, who posted 19 points.

Promise Prepatory Academy's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-3. As for White Creek Christian Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 15-7.

Promise Prepatory Academy will take on HALO at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. HALO is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.6 points per game this season.
