Soccer Game Preview: Tempe vs. Crismon

The Tempe Buffaloes will square off against the Crismon Rattlers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Tempe is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.

Tempe took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They came out on top against Marcos de Niza by a score of 4-2. Erick Rodriguez had to tread lightly for part of the match after he was hit with a yellow card, but that was the only trouble the Buffaloes got from the refs.

Tempe hit Marcos de Niza with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rodriguez (2), Rub?n Marmolejo, and Leo Silva.

Meanwhile, Crismon can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They never let Desert Sunrise onto the board and left with a 2-0 victory.

Tempe's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three matchups. As for Crismon, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-9-1.
