Soccer Game Preview: Hartfield Academy vs. Presbyterian Christian

Hartfield Academy and Presbyterian Christian are an even 4-4 against one another since January of 2015, but likely not for long. The Hartfield Academy Hawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Presbyterian Christian Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hartfield Academy's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Presbyterian Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Hartfield Academy fought the good fight in their overtime game against Jackson Academy on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was the Raiders who were credited with the win. Jackson Academy got it done in the shootout by posting six goals to Hartfield Academy's five. The loss put an end to the Hawks' undefeated start to the season.

Last Monday, Presbyterian Christian came up short against Jackson Prep and fell 3-1.

Having lost for the first time this season, Hartfield Academy fell to 6-1-1. As for Presbyterian Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3-1.
