Volleyball Recap: Michael Pinkerton's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Antietam over Reading

Antietam was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Reading Red KNights.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-19, 25-14.

Antietam lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Michael Pinkerton, who had three aces and one block. Another player making a difference was Quintin Heller, who had eight digs.

Antietam's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Reading, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3.

Looking ahead, Antietam will challenge Wyomissing at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Reading, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Exeter Township at 6:00 p.m. on the 24th.
