Tipton is 2-7 against Frankton since May of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Blue Devils will look to defend their home field against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Ella Lobeck made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Makenna Comer, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI and one run. That's the most hits she has posted since back in May of 2025. Cora Braun was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
Meanwhile, Frankton waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 5-1 win over the Indians.
Zoey Coppess spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on two hits and racked up 16 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Grace Kessinger was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last four times she's played.
Frankton's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Tipton, their win bumped their record up to 7-15.
