Soccer Recap: Chester Comes Up Short

Chester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Mid-Carolina Rebels. If Chester were looking for revenge after losing 13-1 to Mid-Carolina when the teams met back in April of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Chester's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Mid-Carolina, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chester will welcome Newberry at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mid-Carolina, they will square off against Columbia at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
