Baseball Recap: Eight Straight Road Victories for Drummond

Drummond had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Pond Creek-Hunter Panthers by a score of 11-6. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Drummond's victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-2. As for Pond Creek-Hunter, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-13.

Pond Creek-Hunter wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 19-4 loss against Chisholm on the 17th. Hopefully Drummond paid attention to the Panthers' matchup: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Panthers at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday.
