Baseball Recap: Pocahontas Takes a Loss

Pocahontas has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 2.86 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Spencer Tigers by a score of 11-10. The loss continues a trend for the Indians in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost four in a row.

Pocahontas' defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Spencer, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pocahontas will square off against Webster City at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Spencer, they will take on Spirit Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
