Recap: Dunellen Destroyers vs. East Brunswick Vo-Tech
The Dunellen Destroyers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat East Brunswick Vo-Tech 75-39 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Dunellen has managed all season.
Dunellen's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jamael Davis led the charge by scoring 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Hutchins, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
Dunellen has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season. As for East Brunswick Vo-Tech, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dunellen will take on Metuchen at 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Hopefully Metuchen focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 last Wednesday. As for East Brunswick Vo-Tech, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against South Amboy at 5:30 p.m.
