Volleyball Recap: Central DeWitt Find Success

Central DeWitt posted their closest victory since September 6th on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Alleman Pioneers. This was payback for Central DeWitt, who suffered a 2-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The victory made it two in a row for Central DeWitt and bumps their season record up to 12-9. As for Alleman, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-16.

Looking ahead, Central DeWitt will venture away from home to face off against Davenport West at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alleman, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Davenport North on the 11th.
