South Sioux City is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They skirted past Millard North 2-1.

Meanwhile, Omaha South faced Lincoln Southwest in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Packers were the clear victors by a 5-2 margin over the Silver Hawks. Omaha South might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by three goals or more this season.

They hit Lincoln Southwest with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Dylan Holden (2), Julian Rodriguez (2), and Jolvin Albueno.

South Sioux City's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Omaha South, their victory bumped their record up to 14-2.

South Sioux City suffered a grim 4-1 defeat to Omaha South when the teams last played back in March of 2022. Can the Cardinals avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
