Volleyball Recap: Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind Sentinels vs. San Simon Longhorns
Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the San Simon Longhorns, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 3rd.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14, 25-7.
MarAzul Ruiz-Corral paced Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind's offense, picking up four kills. Ruiz-Corral got some help from Alicia Sanchez and her three assists. Isabella Vega controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.
Arizona School for the Deaf & Blind's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for San Simon, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-8.
