West Laurens extended their winning streak to eight on Friday, bumping them up to 8-0. They breezed past the Hephzibah Rebels to the tune of 42-7. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

West Laurens had a senior duo take command as Cason Pollack threw for 160 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes and Branden Brooks gained 181 total yards. Brooks was no stranger to the big play, lighting up the secondary with a catch that went for 57 yards.

West Laurens was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 248 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 176 rushing yards in 14 consecutive games dating back to last season.
