The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Pawnee City in their matchups with Tri County: they've now lost three in a row.

Pawnee City bumped their record down to 0-8 with that loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.9 points per game. As for Tri County, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
Pawnee City will finish 2023 at home by hosting Sterling at 6:00 p.m. on December 29th. Tri County will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Deshler at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Deshler is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
