Volleyball Recap: Summit Takes a Loss

Summit came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Woodbridge Barrons.

While Summit was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Woodbridge's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-21.

When it comes to explaining why Summit lost, don't look at Nadia Moghal. Despite the final result, she had 22 assists and three digs.

Summit's defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Woodbridge, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Summit will head out on the road to square off against Elizabeth at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Woodbridge, they will be playing at home against Colonia on Tuesday.
