Basketball Game Preview: Salem Blue Devils vs. Manchester Memorial Crusaders

Salem is 2-7 against Manchester Memorial since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. After both having extra time off, both will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:30 p.m. Salem knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Manchester Memorial likes a good challenge.

Two weeks ago, everything came up roses for Salem against Goffstown as the team secured a 59-17 win.

Meanwhile, Manchester Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch two weeks ago as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by Concord Christian 55-20.

Manchester Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Salem, their victory bumped their record up to 3-0.

Everything went Salem's way against Manchester Memorial in their previous meeting back in January, as Salem made off with a 61-39 win. Does Salem have another victory up their sleeve, or will Manchester Memorial turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
