Basketball Game Preview: Hinsdale Central Bobcats vs. Bolivar-Richburg Wolverines

Hinsdale Central is 0-3 against Bolivar-Richburg since February of 2022 but things could change on Friday. The Hinsdale Central Bobcats will challenge the Bolivar-Richburg Wolverines at 6:00 p.m.

Hinsdale Central is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Thursday. They fell 40-28 to Houghton Academy.

Meanwhile, Bolivar-Richburg waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They had just enough and edged the Lions out 68-65.

Bolivar-Richburg is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Hinsdale Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Hinsdale Central was taken down by Bolivar-Richburg 90-37 in their previous meeting back in February of 2024. Can Hinsdale Central avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
