Volleyball Recap: Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] Comes Up Short

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Arapahoe Warriors. If Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] was looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to Arapahoe when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-21, 25-20.

Lauryn Ruda paced Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood]'s offense, picking up ten kills. Ruda got some help from Klaire Pohl and her 18 assists. Bentley Stubbs controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood]'s defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Arapahoe, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] will challenge Alma at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Arapahoe, they will take on Norton at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
